FACE FILLERS
get beautiful.. keep them guessing……
Face fillers also known as dermal fillers help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face.Face fillers are synthetic materials that are injected into the face to increase lip, cheek, or chin volume. Fillers can also be used to reduce the nasolabial fold and to fill in creases and wrinkles in the skin. In some cases, filler can be used to treat the hollows beneath the eyes. More and more consumers are opting for non-surgical techniques of preserving beauty as these techniques have ‘less downtime’ – without going thru the pains of healing from surgery.
As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat. The facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow’s feet become more apparent.
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin. Fullness or plumpness of the skin is because of this Hyaluronic acid. As we age we loose hyaluronic acid from the skin resulting in loss of fullness so With the passage of time the face and lips tends to lose volume, which causes the skin to look less full and less tight.Cheeks sag down increasing nasolabial folds, oral comissure and marionette lines become prominent and lips become thin. Wrinkles, crows feet, and tear trough appear around eyes.Forehead shows frown lines and forehead lines.

We offer fillers from renowned manufacturers eg Juvederm and perlane, Restylane etc. Theses fillers are cross-linked hyaluronic acid.. Injecting Juvederm can increase the fullness and inflate the skin. The fact that hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin accounts for low incidence of allergic reaction to Juvederm.

How Dermal Fillers Work ?
Dermal fillers are a naturally-derived or synthetic material that is directly injected into skin with the purpose of plumping that area to the point where the wrinkle, depression, or fold is gone so it just adds the volume lost in aging,
How long is a treatment?
Dermal filler injections do not take long. The treatment is performed by injecting Restylane or Perlane or juvedrem under your skin. Since no pre-test is needed, your procedure can usually be done in less than one hour. Most injections can be performed within 30-45 minutes. Many patients like the added comfort provided when we apply an ice pack, while others prefer an anesthetic block. This makes the treatment relatively painless.
How will I look right after my treatment?
After our skilled certified doctors injections, normal activities can be resumed immediately. Discomfort is minimal. The treatment site may have a little swelling, which may last a few hours. There may be some slight bruising very rarerl which can be covered with make-up
What is the advantage of hyaluronic fillers?
The big advantage of these fillers is that it is a non-permanent and natural treatment. The chemical contains a natural bodily chemical which fills up the skin like normal tissues. The modeling and contouring effects appear natural.
Is there any allergic test required?
Unlike injection of collagen there is no allergic testing required before injection. The product in these fillers is non animal and has no allergic tendencies
Does one need additional treatments?
Yes, hyaluronic filler is not permanent and repeat injections are required to maintain the wrinkle free face. Most individuals will require a repeat session after 2 years. If treatment is stopped, the wrinkles will re appear.
What are Side Effects these fillers?
These face fillers are generally a safe product. Because these are made up of hyaluronic acid (Which is also a normal component of the human body) the skin does not react adversely to the product. Reports of allergy or granuloma formation are rare.
What side effects have been reported with face fillers?
Studies from Europe where the product has been widely used indicate that side effects are rare. The most common side effects have been temporary redness, swelling, itching or tenderness. These side effects usually resolve in a few weeks.
Is the injection painful?
Most individuals do not like needles but there is minimal pain associated with injection of face filler For those who are anxious about needles, the physician can apply a topical local anesthetic 20 minutes prior to the injections.
Is it safe?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and therefore it also dissolves naturally with time and is integrated into your body’s tissues. The synthetic, biodegradable hyaluronic acid known as Perlane/juvederm/emerval etc, has been used in Europe and Canada and America for many years. It has the same 20 mg/cc strength of hyaluronic acid as Restylane; they just vary in gel particle size. This variability makes for tailoring of injections according to the depth of the wrinkles and desired lip enhancement.
What is the difference between Perlane/juvederm and Botox?
Perlane/juvederm is natural cosmetic filler. Botox is a drug that blocks nerve transmission and relaxes the underlying muscles. Many patients have been very pleased after receiving treatment with both products.

Lip augmentation with fillers
Lip fillers (or injections) can be used to give you youthful looking, plump lips, especially effective for women with naturally thin or thinning lips.
- A more defined smile
- Can help turn the corners of the mouth upwards
- Give lips a more youthful looking appearance
- Thinning lips appear more fuller
Why use lip fillers?
Ageing naturally causes your lips to become thinner and lose definition. Where you’re likely to notice it most is around ‘Cupid’s Bow’ – the V-shaped area of your upper lip. You may have used make-up to disguise things, but it can bleed down the vertical wrinkles and actually highlight the problem.
If lips are small right from childhood even then lips can be enhanced.
